Who we are
Grand Architect Tattoo Studio, 40165 Murrieta Hot Springs Rd Ste G, Murrieta, CA 92563. Telephone (951) 412-0091. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the studio” mean Grand Architect Tattoo Studio.
Age requirement
You must be 18 or over to be tattooed. Under California law, we cannot tattoo a minor under any circumstances, with or without parental consent. Government-issued photo identification is required for every tattoo appointment, regardless of apparent age.
Consultations
Consultations are free and place you under no obligation. Nothing discussed at a consultation is a binding quote until it is confirmed in writing.
Appointments and deposits
A deposit may be required to hold an appointment. Where a deposit is taken it is applied against the final price of the work.
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or if you do not attend. If you reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit moves with you to the new appointment. Deposits may be transferred once; a second reschedule may require a new deposit.
If we cancel or reschedule your appointment, your deposit is refunded in full or carried forward, whichever you prefer.
Arriving more than 20 minutes late may mean your session has to be shortened or rebooked, as the time after yours belongs to somebody else.
Designs and artwork
Custom artwork produced for you remains the intellectual property of the artist who drew it. You are buying the tattoo, not the exclusive rights to the design. We may photograph completed work and show it in our portfolio, on this website and on social media. If you would prefer your tattoo not to be photographed or shown, tell us before your appointment and we will respect that.
We will not copy another artist’s custom work. We can take it as a reference and draw something original in that direction.
Condition on the day
We cannot tattoo you if you are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a condition that makes tattooing unsafe. Tell us in advance about any skin condition, allergy, bleeding disorder, diabetes, heart condition, or medication that affects clotting or healing. If we decline to work on you for a safety reason, any deposit taken is refunded.
Aftercare and touch-ups
How a tattoo heals depends substantially on how it is cared for. Aftercare instructions are provided at your appointment and published on this website. Free touch-ups are offered within 60 days of the original work, provided our aftercare guidance has been followed. Touch-ups needed because of sun damage, picking, swimming during healing, or work done elsewhere are chargeable.
Prices and payment
Prices are quoted per piece or per session and confirmed before work begins. Payment is due on completion of each session. We accept cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card payments are processed by Square; we never see or store your full card number.
Products bought through this site
Where the site sells goods, those goods are subject to our returns policy. Aftercare products and other items that have been opened or used cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Bookings made online
Appointments requested through this website are requests until the studio confirms them. Availability shown on the site comes from our live calendar but is not a guarantee until you receive confirmation.
Liability
Tattooing carries inherent risks, including infection, allergic reaction, scarring and pigment migration. These risks are explained on the consent form, which must be signed before tattooing begins. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of Riverside County have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time of your booking is the version that applies to it.
